The Warramungas Aftermath of War is the second book in a trilogy written by Greg kater. It is a fiction book about post Second World War. It's a follow up of the first book, The Warramungas War.

Jamie and Jacko embark on another adventurous mission from Darwin, Australia to the Philippines and then back to Australia on a trail of a very ruthless gang of children smugglers. The book takes you on a journey across various Countries and Continents and is indeed a very interesting story as I was not able to put it down once I started to read it.

The events of the story take place in post Second World War era and the author manages to bring out the war damaged cities of the Philippines like Manila in such a way that you feel like you are actually viewing these ruins in a virtual reality.

Jamie and Jacko go through quite a number of challenges in this sequel which almost ends Jacko's life as at some point, a bullet narrowly misses him. Their accomplice, Harry, is not so lucky and he gets hit by a bullet which gets lodged in his shoulder. This doesn't lower the good guys' thirst for justice as they continue to pursue the villains and infact they become even more determined and alert. The gangsters themselves also prove that they are a force to be reckoned with as they really give our stars Jamie and Jacko a very hard time trying to figure out the best tactics to nail these well organized and ruthless gang. just how big a gang are they and how well are they connected to the who is who in the Government? These are some of the questions that get answered in this very captivating book.

The author manages to introduce new characters in this story so well just like in the first book. This blends well with the events taking place and helps to keep the storyline flowing. What I also liked most about Greg Kater's work of fiction is that you get to learn and experience a bit of history and also he never misses to crack one's ribs with laughter from the comical way in which he portrays some events in the book.

The book seems to be professionally edited and proofread. I could only spot not more than 3 typos and would recommend this book to all people who love action packed stories with a twist of espionage and a bit of romance.

There really is nothing not to love about the book and I hereby rate it 4 out of 4 stars and look forward to reading the next one from Greg Kater.
