Who Told You That You Were Naked? Is a non-fictional book written by Reverend William E. Combs, this book is a very alluring read that takes the reader back to creation, at the Garden of Eden, were human fell into temptation. The author takes what we know about the Biblical stories and creates more complex personalities and dialogues out of it. He also includes personal stories of his encounters, ministries and his family too.

This book has direct quotes and scriptures from the Bible; this is depicted as it explains the happenings in the first few chapters of the book of Genesis in the Bible. Reverend Combs brings the explanation as to why Adam and Eve were tempted into eating the forbidden fruit hence the origin of the sin. The author compares this story of the fall of man to the current status of the world which he believes to be in trouble, and this is the main agenda for he came up with this book to educate and enlighten the reader.

The book contains Ten Chapters, and each chapter is based on the Biblical foundation that enables the reader to refer to the stories in the Bible and gives him or her better understanding. Each chapter in this book contains a list of questions at the end, and I personally found them to be helpful since it will reinforce the information passed in that chapter, and gives the reader to do further studies and research. These questions will also be the great discussion for a newbie in faith and Bible study groups.

This book occupies my heart in a healthy manner. The content of this book is such an amazing thought by the Reverend, who is the author. It gives the reader a flashback to the fall of mankind and the solutions towards leading a pleasant Christian life. Reverend Combs includes personal testimonies in the story and hence giving clear and relatively good experience to the reader.

I enjoyed reading this book. Despite the writing within this book being good, I find a little unusual with the font changing severally throughout the book. There being few typos in the book, it doesn’t change the flow and the message in it.

I fully recommend this book to all Christians and non-believers who want to grow spiritually. This is because it gives a pure understanding of the Bible and the truth about God. This book is quite good with a lot of more questions in it to keep the pace of the book.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I didn’t encounter any grammatical errors. It is well written, interesting, and informative also the author’s insights on scriptures were good and logical.
