Roadmap to the End of Days is a fascinating book that explains in detail the history of the world as well as the future from a Judaic perspective. The author goes into great detail explaining the origin of our world and how time began, along with the variances within different religions. This book is an amazing compilation of facts, scriptures, and quotes comparing them with scientific data. The charts and timelines used in this book are very detailed and explain how time has been accounted for since creation. According to the author (and the Bible), a day in our time is like a thousand years to God. Therefore, according to the book of Genesis, when God created the world in six days, it was really about 6,000 years according to our time. The author does a magnificent job of taking the reader through the span of thousands of years, detailing the very beginning all the way to the future when the end of days will occur.

Even though I do not share the same religion as the author, I was very much intrigued by the title of this book. As I read a description of the book, I really wanted to read it and glean some knowledge about the controversial subject of prophecies, spiritual writings, and science. Not being familiar with Judaism, I was very curious what this author had to say about the end of days. As a Christian, I wanted a different perspective. Boy, was I in for a treat! Even though I do not agree with everything written in this book, it is very well researched.

One of the rather unique characteristics of this book was the author’s use of a glossary, which allows any reader to be able to understand these writings, even if he knows nothing about the Bible. Words, names, and phrases are explained in detail and are very easy to understand. A reader can just click on the highlighted word and be taken to the glossary. This is a nice feature of reading an electronic version of the book.

As mentioned previously, the author’s use of charts and graphs are mind-boggling. This is a truly wonderful way of further explaining the timeline of past, present, and future. I was fascinated by the way in which the different time periods were presented and the way the author takes the reader from before time all the way to the future year of 2072, which marks the End of Days.

Roadmap to the End of Days is very well researched, well written, and grammatically error free. This author portrays a beautiful picture of history and the future as it relates to the beliefs of Judaism. I rate this book a 3 out of 4 stars because it was so carefully detailed and researched. I did not give it a 4-star rating because I simply do not share the same beliefs and I was disappointed that there was no mention of Jesus at all. I did not rate this book a 2-star rating because it is wonderfully researched and written. While I cannot recommend this book based on religious beliefs, I would highly recommend it for its historical value as I believe the author did a superb job of explaining prophecies and historical facts from the Bible. I truly did not want to stop reading this book until I reached the end.

That would be intriguing to get the Jewish perspective on the end times.

I reviewed this one awhile back and it was dense in its reading at times, but well worth it. I did not know much about kabbalah and it was informative. Knowing that this book can be hard to review because of its extensive subject, I think you did an excellent job. Thanks for the review.
