There is no end to Sophia's night terrors. Guilt haunts Sophia for an incident that occurred 4 years ago in which Jeremy walked into the sea and nearly drowned himself. She did not coerce him to drown nor physically drown him. So why does she blame herself for it?

Come explore together with Sophia as she finds out surreal truth. Sophia’s musical talent takes her on an unprecedented journey. Is the journey beneficial, or will it bring her harm? Romance is definitely in the cards for her as she meets Dante, with whom she takes on the work of a composer. On the front, Dante seems cool, but his actions seem suspicious. Is this a trap for Sophia?

Heidi M. Simone builds an appealing fictional fantasy story using Greek mythology in her new book, Music to My Ears (Pre-Release Beta Edition). I am impressed with the author’s writing. Every chapter ends with a hint of suspense that makes the reader dash onto the next chapter. I liked how the author reveals character traits in a relevant situation rather than giving detailed descriptions. Simone presents a subtle and enjoyable sense of humor in the story. Key incidents are revealed in parts that stir up readers’ curiosity. It helps keep the reader invested in the story. Guilt, PTSD, American dreams, and empathy are some of the themes highlighted in the story.

I could not find anything negative about this book. I can't wait for the next part of this series! I just found one typographical error, and it leads me to believe that the book was professionally edited. I recommend this book to adolescents and adults. The book’s appealing story will keep both age groups engaged. This book invokes creative imagination in young adults. Considering all the above points, I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
