Review of The Struggle for Justice and Truth
Intense, action-packed thriller The Struggle for Justice and Truth by Tomas Cudzis explores the murky underbelly of illegal MMA combat and the unwavering quest for justice. The narrative tracks Tomas, a fictional figure named after the author, as he navigates a maze of internal and external tensions. Originally spurred on by fears from his early years, Tomas develops into a fierce combatant and finally finds himself involved in a bloody conflict with the Triads in Hong Kong.
The storyline of the novel is compelling and unrelenting. Tomas has an engrossing and intense journey from an insecure youngster to the underground king of illicit MMA battles. The harsh reality of his life is brought to light by his forced exile to the United States and the conflicts he subsequently had with the Triads. The stakes are raised even more by the addition of a top-secret US agency, which raises the suspense and complexity level.
This work stands out for its examination of Tomas's inner anguish. His mental state is severely damaged by the violence he both experiences and perpetrates. Tomas is portrayed by the author as having an internal conflict, and this helps to give him a sympathetic and complex personality. The otherwise action-packed plot gains complexity from his tragic and plausible spiral into lunacy.
The use of music, particularly Linkin Park songs, to improve the reading experience is one of the book's distinctive features. This innovative method is fascinating and gives the story a deeper emotional quality. While not required, listening to the recommended music can help readers have a deeper understanding of Tomas's world.
The book does have certain shortcomings, though. For certain readers, the graphic violence and vulgarity could be too much. Furthermore, there may be disagreements with the author's contentious views on historical events like 9/11, COVID-19, and BLM. Despite giving the story more reality, these components occasionally take center stage.
The Struggle for Justice and Truth is nevertheless a gripping read in spite of these flaws. The novel is hard to put down because of Tomas's journey, which is both painful and inspiring. The author deserves praise for her skill in fusing action, psychological nuance, and contemporary concerns. There are no grammatical mistakes, and the text has been professionally edited in the book. I give this book a rating of 4 out of 5 stars.
