Who Told You That You Were Naked? By William E. Combs is a tale of what transpired in the Garden of Eden and how sin came into the world. It is a very interesting novel about the beginning of the world and our first parents, Adam and Eve. I addition, it also has biblical sermons in the biblical times which are referred to as the Bible. More so, it has the author's experiences with God right from his childhood.

It is from Who Told You That You Were Naked? where the reader learns about how sin entered the world and the work of redemption after Adam and Eve committed the first sin. As well, how the decision made by him made us slaves to sin and hence God's saving power in redemption was bared. The author helps the reader to see how we are made righteous through Jesus Christ when He died for our sins. Besides, it shows the importance of faith and in such a case gives an example of the centurion and the leper. Through the author's testimonies, the reader discovers that God still communicates with us today like He did in the biblical times and how He unfolds each day to us as we do not have the capacity to see the future.

From this book, I learned that those who rebelled against God in the biblical times never obtained the rest and if we do the same we will not enter into God's rest. More so, we learn that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood because the Messiah came into our hearts. Therefore giving us an assurance that we should rest because the work of redemption was completed way back in the beginning before the world began. The author concludes by saying that we are called to follow Christ as Christians and that we should not lean on our own understanding for God to work in us.

By far, the most interesting aspect of this book is the flow of the narrative. From the beginning of creation up to how mankind is to live in line with the bible. The mixture of the biblical times and the author's life testimonies make it a captivating book. I enjoyed how the mixture of the author's real life events blend within the story. Besides, the book is not only about the beginning of creation, but also on the issues concerning the overall Christian life experiences.

Anyone who has an interest in God's word would certainly like this book. Generally, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. Above and beyond, the author is gifted in literature. I would recommend the book to those people who are studying theology and especially to those who are practicing pastor hood.
