"Surviving the Business of Healthcare" by Barbara Galutia Regis, PA-C is an informative read about healthcare issues. The author began creating the book with the intention of serving as a supplier to assist others in the industry in navigating it. It was surprising since, just as the last chapter was coming to an end, Regis was diagnosed with cancer. Although it was regrettable, she shared the experience to benefit patients and gained knowledge that she would not have as a practitioner. She covered crucial subjects like health insurance, choosing a doctor, and cost-cutting measures. Her 20 years of expertise as a provider are included in the book to aid other providers in navigating the industry.

I admire the author's will to finish this work and her kindness in sharing her knowledge. Perseverance through obstacles in life and health requires a tremendous amount of courage. The author stresses the value of initiative in running a healthcare company, including marketing, fostering connections with customers and associates, and being aware of ethical and legal issues, including HIPAA regulations and liability issues. The book is organized to help readers prioritize their own health while also improving their understanding of the healthcare system. The author's engrossing writing style and nice tone added to why I liked this book. She obviously put her entire being into creating this book and her career. This book has no typographical errors, and it was edited flawlessly.

The position of the photos at the end of the book was one thing I didn't enjoy. By incorporating them into the narrative, the reader would have been prevented from mistaking the memoir for a self-help book and would have gained a deeper grasp of its subject.

The author provided a very clear explanation of medical terms and situations, which is why I gave it a perfect rating of 5 out of 5. I also adore how the author included a little account of her past; it added to the book's sense of realism and humanity.

I recommend this book to readers who are not well-versed in the workings of the medical industry, as well as to those who might be interested in pursuing a career in medicine.
