Review of Unsettled Disruption

Unsettled Disruption by Juana Catalina Rodriguez is a timely and practical guide for innovators and disruptors in today's rapidly changing business landscape. What I disliked about this book was its “Blockbuster” story. Blockbuster faced challenges in adapting to changing customer preferences and behaviours. The rise of online platforms and the convenience of streaming services allowed customers to access a wide range of movies and TV shows from the comfort of their homes. Blockbuster's un-innovative reliance on physical stores and the inconvenience of returning rented DVDs became less appealing to customers, leading to a decline in foot traffic and revenue. The downfall of Blockbuster serves as a cautionary tale for companies that fail to recognize and respond to disruptive forces in their industry. The book was exceptionally well-edited and error-free.
