In "A Dream for Peace," Dr. Ghoulem Berrah warmly welcomes you into the captivating tale of his life in Algeria during the days of French rule. It's like he's taking you by the hand, starting from his early days all the way to his fight for Algerian freedom.

Picture this: Dr. Berrah, a medical student, is standing up against colonial oppression. He faced tough times, even landing in jail for fighting for freedom. But through it all, you see this guy's resilience and his commitment to spreading peace. It's like he's telling you, "Hey, I'm just a regular person, but I stood up for what I believed in."

This book goes smoothly, just like a tale told in chapters. Dr. Berrah is certainly a very competent speaker of English now; one wouldn’t think that English is his second language. He tells his story so well. In fact, some aspects make you feel like you are part of it.

The good news is that this book is not about Dr. Berrah alone. It’s like a mini-documentary from the 90s when things were done in a different way. He traversed freely, met with the leaders, and later compared it to the struggles Africans experience in getting visas today. You are left thinking it’s like a little twist in the story.

Okay, let's be real. The book is a little hefty, like a big meal that may make one full. However, trust me, it is good enough. The writing is excellent, and there is not a single error in the entire book.

“A Dream for Peace” is for everyone, whether you are from a former colony, a political lover, a history enthusiast, or an interested individual from Algeria, Morocco, Israel, Palestine, or France. The story of Dr. Berrah is a speech motivating young people who are prepared to fight for their rights and the rights of their country.

To sum it up, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's book is a heartfelt journey through his life and struggles. It leaves you inspired and thinking. So, don't let the size scare you off—dive in and explore the fight for freedom and independence. This is a 5 out of 5 star read. There’s nothing to dislike in this book.
