Twisted Threads by Kaylin McFarren is a psychological thriller that takes readers on an exciting adventure. Mitsui-san's sister was killed, and the authorities confirm it was an accident. He doesn't believe that his sister's death was an accident. He believes that she was murdered and plans to take revenge on the perpetrators.

Mitsui-san gets intel that an English couple is responsible for the death of his sister. He also gets intel about their whereabouts. They are to board a ship called Sarfish. He sends Akira and Takashi to help him enact his revenge by killing the couple. Akira and Takashi board the ship disguised as a father and daughter. Will their plan work?

I like this book because it is intensely emotional, action-packed, and nerve-wracking. The title of the book is fitting; the author springs up with a twist when you least expect it. I applaud her for her creativity because she never lost herself in the story. No storyline was used as a filler. She made sure all the storylines had an impact on the plot.

To really understand how twisted the book is, one would have to read it.My favorite character was Akira. Despite her profession, she still had a conscience. Her most admirable quality is her thoughtfulness. She taught me to always think for myself in order to avoid making any rash decisions. She was also independent and caring.

I was happy she allowed Devon to have a positive impact on her life. I like how Devon supported her even after finding out about her past. It taught me to always give people a second chance. Because of the book's superb editing, I couldn't find any grammatical errors. I also found nothing to dislike about the book. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to readers who love books about thrillers.
