A Dream for Peace, written by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, is a memoir about his life experiences. The author was raised in the town of Aïn Beda. During the French colonization of Algeria, he developed anti-colonial views and a sense of rebellion as a result of living under the rigorous rules of the French as a child. When he enrolled in a Bordeaux university, he saw the injustices done to his people. He became involved in the union's campaign against systemic racism and the Algerian Revolution as a result of these occurrences. Dr. Berrah's actions thrust him into the public eye as the calls for freedom grew louder. As one of the most prominent advocates for the liberation of his country, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah gained fame. Unfortunately, his passion for the liberation of his nation compels him to flee France. He eventually made it to America, where he attended an American university to finish his studies and ultimately got a Ph.D. in microbiology. The author has excelled not only in medicine but also in politics, where he worked as a president's counselor and played a crucial role in advancing world peace.

The author's humble demeanor, was the first aspect of this book that I enjoyed. This book has such a lovely layout and writing style. The book is superbly written and has an unflinching tone. He exposes his blunders as well as the highs and lows of life. The author's use of storytelling is appealing. Nothing in the narrative was left unspoken. I gained knowledge of Algeria's past, including its colonization and liberation.

There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was insightful and well-organized. Although the book was lengthy and some words were difficult to pronounce, apart from that, it was a fantastic book that I enjoyed reading. The book was entertaining to read. The author provided an in-depth account of his personal experiences. The reader was able to have a strong emotional connection to this story since it was written in straightforward language.

There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited. I liked every aspect of it, and as a result, I am rating this book, A Dream for Peace, 5 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed reading this book from the beginning to the end. I applaud the author for writing such a compelling novel.

Furthermore, I would recommend this book to people who love reading memoirs and to political activists.
