A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a magnificent book that emphasizes the need to be ambitious, persistent, and courageous in all encounters in life. From the onset, the author gives a clear description of how activities were carried out in their culture. This was followed by the love accorded to him by his mother. The mother provides a clear picture of the strength of a woman in the current society, as she is able to raise the author and the other siblings despite the death of their father. The author demonstrates his ability to adhere to his own decisions by defying all odds to join the medical school in Bordeaux despite being pressured to become a teacher. As an activist medical student in Bordeaux, France, he was pursued by the police and fled the country. He helped fight for the independence of Algeria, his research in the world of biological sciences led to the development of many innovations, and later he was hired as a lecturer at the Yale School of Medicine. His concern for the lack of worldwide peace spearheaded him to being chosen as an international diplomat who dedicated his entire life to working for peace.

I liked the attributes of the author such as being courageous, a freedom fighter, a peace enthusiast, and an innovator. His concern for worldwide peace led to him being chosen as a diplomat. In the entire book, there is no circumstance where the author portrays the loss of hope in his ambitions. In the early stages, I loved how the author describes events taking place in his culture and the part that fascinates me most is how marriage negotiations occur. The book serves as a motivational, educational, and entertainment tool at the same time.

I disliked nothing about this book. On the contrary, I enjoyed every bit of my reading sessions. The book is straightforward and everyone easily understands the grammar used.

I did not find any typos or grammar errors, as the book was well written and edited.

I am glad to rate this book 5 out of 5 stars] as it is educational, motivational, and informative. A Dream for Peace will not only help the readers to become ambitious but also instills the virtue of persistence into their daily endeavors.

I recommend this book to anyone whose dream is to become a diplomat in life. By imitating the authors’ lifestyle one can help solve disputes in society, bring various innovations into the society and act as a role model to future generations.
