The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci by Belle Ami is about Angela, a girl who can foresight the past. Angela is working in an art gallery, where her nightmares began. Every time she sleeps, she goes into another dimension where she experiences the stories and struggles of the past. These dreams hunted her to the point that she couldn’t even go on with her own life. One day, she will meet Alex, an art detective who is on a mission to find the missing painting of Leonardo Da Vinci. Alex will believe in Angela's dream and he will hire her to find the missing art and help her analyze and seek for the answers regarding her nightmares.

What I like about the book is the love between Alex and Angela. Even though they faced difficult struggles with their adventure, these enables them to become stronger and to trust one another. Also, I like the determination of Angela; even though she struggles the most, this doesn’t stop her from seeking for the answers regarding her nightmares and the past that she is seeing. Besides, I loved the fact that Alex is very understanding of Angela’s feelings and he always helps her whenever she needs her. Moreover, I like that Scordato possess the character of a real villain; his personality and actions fit the description of an antagonist. Lastly, I loved that history, romance and mystery could coexist in one novel.

What I don’t like about the book is when Angela keeps important things from Alex, because of it, they faced a difficult situation that could kill both of them. I don’t like the irrational thoughts of Angela and her reluctance to fully trust Alex. But aside from that, I do enjoy the whole book and appreciate the character’s feelings from the outside perspective.

I will rate this book a 4 out of 5 stars, because it is exceptionally edited and I didn’t notice a mistake. There are some parts of the book that get confusing because of the appearance of new characters. Other than that, the author was able to give a very interesting and knowledgeable story.

I will recommend this book to the young adults, they are the ones who would probably like this type of genre where history, romance, and mystery exist. They could also learn to appreciate how the author was able to support and promote art history in her own way.
