The first in the series is East Wind, 2nd Edition by Jack Winnick. One of the few people who works for Mossad's Metsada, which handles special operations, is 41-year-old Uri Levin. Additionally, he is the commander of Kidon, a top-secret Israeli unit. He is conversant in Arabic. Lara Edmond, a computer whiz 31 years old, became known as the “Golden Girl” when she decoded some covert communications between certain terrorist organizations in Arabic. This led to her being put in charge of the main electronic terrorism traffic, where they intercept many messages in an effort to identify those coming from terrorists.

Hezbollah, an Arabic terrorist organization, has dispatched some individuals as students and is currently plotting an attack on the USA. This task has been handed to Lara and Uri: to thwart their assaults. How well will they do? Will the enemies' plans include a turntable? To learn the answers to your questions and to see our agents fall in love, read this engaging story.

First of all, I adore the idea of this book. It is about the recent events in our neighborhood. No matter where we are, this is what we always see. The tale comes off as more authentic than made-up. He also takes advantage of the occasion to inform his readers about the Middle East. Even though I don't fully grasp all of their politics, wars, and battles, I enjoyed learning about them. It's a new piece of information for me. I learned more about Ohio and Israel via Lara and Uri's dates. I don't think I'll enjoy living where we manage water, based on Uri's description of Israel.

Furthermore, I particularly appreciate how the author uses this to show that women may be successful in industries that have traditionally been dominated by men. Despite facing discrimination, Lara remained unaffected. I adore that feature. She remained self-assured and disregarded anyone attempting to diminish her. I appreciate a comment from Golda Meir, a former Israeli prime minister, about these Arab terrorists. The statement reads, “When the Arabs love their children more than they despise ours, then we shall have peace with them.” These people genuinely sacrifice their spouses and children out of long-standing animosity.

I can't think of anything bad to say about this tale. It's a compelling story, and I'm glad I chose it. It's a quick read, too. I give this novel 5 out of 5 stars for these. No mistakes were discovered. It was edited exceptionally. A few number of the scenes are rated “mature.”

I’ll recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys reading action novels. Yes, you should read this. Romance is also sprinkled throughout. This is something you would undoubtedly enjoy if you enjoy historical fiction because the author explained some history.

Jack Winnick has carved a niche for himself in writing about issues predominant in the Middle East. Aside the thrill that comes from reading his works, one gets more insight into the dynamics of the face-off between Israel and other Middle East countries.
