Phobia Relief: From Fear to Freedom, written by Kalliope Barlis, is a non-fiction book about relieving phobia and fear and finding your purpose. Phobia is the extreme fear of something, so when you try to tell people the truth about something they fear, it does not change anything since they will still think about it and become afraid of it. When someone fears something, it becomes closer and bigger. The author talks about ways of handling fear, such as thinking about how stupid you look when you fear something and then changing the behavior. All the fears are learned except the fear of loud noises and falling. After teaching people how to relieve themselves from fear, she teaches them ways of finding purpose in life. The greatest instinct is keeping things familiar, so when people learn to be free from phobias, the freedom becomes familiar. By making the feeling of freedom familiar, they relieve themselves from fear and phobia.

What I liked most in this book was the exercise at the end of each part. It helped the readers to reflect on what they had learned from the chapter. It enables the readers to apply the skills they learned from that particular part. I liked how educative the book is in educating the readers on relieving themselves of fear and phobias. Many people have fears but don't know how to free themselves from them. With the information contained in this book, they can now learn to free themselves of their fears. Finally, I liked the flow of the book. The author starts the book by defining fear and phobias. She describes ways of relieving fear and phobia and then describes how to plan for the future.

I have nothing to criticize in this book. The author has done great in assembling this information to help people troubled by fear and phobias.

I rate Phobia Relief: From Fear to Freedom by Kalliope Barlis five out of five stars. The book was professionally edited since I found a few errors. It had several positive aspects and no negative aspects. The educative content it contains and the presentation is worth a perfect rating even though it had several errors since they did not affect the quality of work; hence, the rating.

I recommend this book to people who want to be free from their fears and find their purpose. It would be helpful since it talks about relieving fears and finding your purpose. The author explains each step well, ensuring anyone can read the book and understand.
