Korian and his people are safely hidden from Hades and his most ruthless soldiers. They have escaped Hades’ grasp once before and are on high alert for any signs that his darkness might be coming for them. One night Korian and his people witness fire fall from the sky onto Endura. Korian wants to inspect the fire object. He gathers Tana, Doric, Gred, Golin, Crogan, Jannik, Will and Oren to form his party. He orders the rest of the people to pack up and be ready to leave immediately if he happens to return with bad news. Korian and his party then start their journey in search of the fire object from the sky, unless there were problems they calculated that it should take a few days to get there and the same amount of time to get back. It takes them longer than they expected and they find out that Hades and Aaron are on their way toward them. This causes Korian to make a call to send two from his party, Jannik and Will, back to the rest of the people and alert them of Hades and Aaron’s approach. The excitement keeps building as Korian and his party continue their quest, in hopes that what they may find will help them defeat Hades and his dark forces, who are constantly chasing after them.

The world of Endura is an exciting new place but also has a familiar feeling. Giorgio Garofalo presented an exciting story with mysteries that keeps your eyes glued to the pages. Excitement was felt each time our heroes battled against Hades and the dark side, with cunning techniques they continued their quest. Some of the quests that the heroes completed came with mystery, creating more interest. This story of good versus evil has many great features to it, but the way the writing was delivered to the reader was magnificent. Giorgio Garofalo did a remarkable job of not bogging down and overwhelming the reader with too many details or lengthy descriptions about this new world. Though our heroes were people of action and extreme courage, they were also a reminder of what they can overcome and how much stronger they are as a party when everybody works together and cares for one another.

There was a chapter where the closing quotation marks were missing throughout, not marking when someone had finished speaking. This did not distract me while reading since it was missing at the end of the paragraph when it was clear that the individual who was speaking had finished. I did not find any other errors in the rest of the book.

Korian: Ark of the Fallen King was a suspenseful perilous adventure. I enjoyed this novel and am excited to rate it 5 out of 5 stars. Though I mentioned a repeating error in a chapter, I thought the book looked professionally edited overall. The story was exciting with proper heroes in it. As well as being mysterious, having me wondering about Sara an important person from Korian’s past, and what's in store for our heroes in the next novel after the truth they have discovered.

I recommend this to readers who enjoy fantasy novel series, with a major emphasis on action adventure. Korian: Ark of the Fallen King is the second book in the series. It is the only one that I have read in this series and I thought it was easy to follow without the first book. With that said I am very curious about who Sara is and would like to know more about Korian’s past, from the first book. This would be suitable for an audience who is in their teenage years or older because of the light profanity used and a mild scene of sexual nature. The profanity word was strong but used very sparingly, I counted a total of six curse words in the whole book. The mild scene of sexual nature was no more than three paragraphs and without graphic details.
