Review of Surviving the Business of Healthcare
Healthcare was very different from what it is today when she was raised in a tiny town where her dad was one of two doctors. Many people might barter for services because they do not have health insurance. Barbara Galutia Regis, PA-C, details the improvements in healthcare over time as well as their effects in her book Surviving the Business of Healthcare. Personal care and choices, various providers, aged care, medical professional positions, health costs, and insurance are a few of the subjects discussed. The author's assessment is based on his experiences as a cancer patient, a physician assistant, and a member of a medical family. She and her patients' experiences are why she drew.
This book's real-life examples, explanations of the results, provocative ideas, and suggestions for improvement are some of its strongest elements. Readers who have experienced comparable circumstances can better understand the content and apply it to their life events thanks to this format. The illustrations on the book's final page emphasize the realism of her upbringing in a tiny town where her father's medical practice was located in the house, as well as their involvement in the neighborhood. You no longer observe that. My doctor has too many patients to remember each one of us, so I doubt he would recognize me if we crossed each other on the road.
The fact that the scenarios focused more on her parents' and patients' experiences than on her struggle with cancer is the one thing I found unfavorable about this book. I chose to read this book because I was curious to see if she had gone through some of the same things that I had with my disease. Since she discussed having cancer at the beginning of the novel, I knew what would happen.
The illustrations at the book's end are misaligned with their titles, which is the only mistake I could find in the Kindle version. The author needs to be notified that there is a problem, even though there might be an update. Although I don't consider them to be errors. But I can tell you that this book has been professionally proofread and is brilliantly done. As a result, I am pleased to give this book a rating of 4 out of 4. There is no justification for a lower rating for this novel.
I advise everyone who is experiencing health problems or knows anybody who is to read this book. The author offers insightful advice and knowledge on health care and the associated costs. What to expect while your therapies are being scheduled.
