Altitude Journals is a very comprehensive book in terms of geography it takes us through the life of Dave Mauro who is also the books author. Dave Mauro wasn't at first interested in mountain climbing and used to do it for fun or as a stress reliever. With time, he was able to find his way through the so called seven summits, the likes of Mount Everest, Aconcagua, Denali, Kilimanjaro e.t.c. He also incorporates his personal life with a family consisting of two kids.

I like the authors font and spacing as used in the book since it is very reader friendly. He also makes use of short chapters covering different parts of his activities mostly mountain climbing. The author is sarcastic to some degree leave alone the courage and audacity to take the given risks at his age. He also tends to follow his heart's desire which acts as a lesson for readers. Despite his age, he is able to tackle very challenging milestones.

The book also opens us to the wide world outside there which is waiting for us to go and dominate it,discover and enjoy it. I liked the introduction of pictures in the book which prove what the author is talking about as well as the links which supplements the seeing is believing part. I just loved the books content of mountains and all that data the author gives about a mountain before sumitting it.

The book also contains dialogue in various sections which adds lather to the book. I generally loved the book and I will devote my life to the same since it's nothing short of wild adventure. I rather disliked how he welcomes the sons gayism plea instead of maybe rebuking him politely or leading him to a better path, on the light side I hoped he had spent more time on the mountain's summits generally to take more photos. The book is also exceptionally edited.

I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars since these one is breathtaking to a very high degree and it's very engaging especially during the hikes as the author has got the best way to include us in his hikes.i would recommend it to youth to test their limits and brace for the adventurous world out there and to follow ones heart's desires regardless of any persuasion otherwise and to old people since they also can be part of making history in ways like Dave Mauro did.
