The process after being told you have cancer can be a traumatic experience for both the patients and their loved ones. This experience is never pleasant and throughout this book Colleen Huber, NMD reveals her eye-opening discovery about the Pharmaceutical industry in America, exploitation of patients in the name of money by the medicinal industry, and harmful effects of treatment by chemotherapy. With years of experience from her clinic in Arizona, She divulges the alternative treatment option— helping the body heal itself naturally by sticking to a strict diet, exercise, acupuncture, homeopathy, chiropractic therapy, and herbal medicines.

A positive aspect of The book Manifesto for a cancer patient by Colleen Huber, NMD is the fact that the author provides data to support her statements and arguments. With the information, she provides despite knowing many may not like what she has to say she can help cancer patients across America. With this well-written book, she bravely shed light on it all providing analyzed data, etc.

However, the negative aspect of this book is the fact that most of the same information is repeated and rephrased throughout the novel constantly. This repetition seems unnecessary and only makes the book longer than needed— causing this reading experience to be almost tiresome.

I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars as it is an interesting book that leaves its reader well informed. It also has the reader questioning aspects of the book. As the reader questions and mentally ponder the words of the author they learn new information as she reveals it all.

I recommend this book to all cancer patients. Even those in countries other than America and to their loved ones. This book is very informative and could help you learn more about this deadly disease we call Cancer.
