Five sisters of different age groups, social and economic strata, life challenges, and past are connected by fate—Rose, Sophie, Veronica, Amanda, and Melody. Interestingly, they share a common interest in fly-fishing sport—each having her unique and adventurous life transition into becoming part of the sisterhood. Each member hopes for a better life experience in her personal life, either professionally or in a way to get rid of painful experiences. However, how would this togetherness turn out for each sister's personal life? Can each girl gain an improved personal-life experience as they have hoped for? In a deeper look at things, what would be the nature of the relational experience that the differences in their socio-economic strata and age group bring about in this relationship? Read through the adventurous and fun story of these five sisters in an uncommon togetherness as sisterhood.

The Reel Sisters by Michelle Cummings is a novel that narrates the personal life experiences and the experiences shared in sisterhood by five female fly fishers, who tend to build each other's interests and joy in the sport.

The book is such an intriguing book to read—it's fun, touching, and adventurous. First, I would like to comment on the overall plot of the book. The plot shows an intelligent effort of the author as it perfectly portrays the distinct role of each character, such that a significant sense of reality is given to the story far beyond a fictitious work. Second, I was indeed fascinated and entertained by the story and experience of the individual sister right from before coming into the sisterhood of fly fishers through to the moments spent together with each other. Sophie, who is the older of the five sisters, has been fishing from her childhood days in her parents' pond. She truly enjoyed the experiences and the atmosphere surrounding the fly-fishing moments. Her inculcated zealousness for the sport made her transfer the same oozing excitement to any other person who shows an interest in the sport. No wonder Veronica, a township girl, was unable to resist the persuasive power in Sophie's excitement as she explained her fly-fishing story during her fly-fishing trip on an airplane.

There's nothing I didn't like about this book. In addition to my aforementioned positive features about the book, I would like to comment on the author's writing style; the writing style made the book so relatable because it is easy to understand. The book is exceptionally well-edited, as I didn't find a typo in it. Hence, I will give The Reel Sisters by Michelle Cummings a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.

I will recommend the book to lovers of self-help books because it teaches female folks, especially, on building confidence to engage in challenging tasks. Generally, if you love to just enjoy a story with a significant touch of reality for your entertaining needs, you will enjoy reading the book.
