The Demon of Reginhart written by Penn Scripter is about magic, demons and wars, but there is something really different about the main character, he is not a normal person, he is what avoids the destruction of a kingdom. This story is so unique and intriguing.

When Asmara’s spell did not go how expected and he ends up attaching himself to a demon that will each other death and destruction, he needed something that could prevent this from happening. And this being was Marcus, he is not either a human or a demon, he is both, a powerful being who has his world changed when was sent to protect a small village and finds out that life is more than fighting wars and fighting with Asmara.

I loved this book. I’ve never read something like this. When I read the Prologue, I was “WHAAAAT???”, but going on with the reading I realized how amazing the story is written and how Asmara, Marcus and Tiecus were well created. They were well built, each one of them has its unique characteristics. This makes the book so much more interesting.
And the book is very intriguing. This is the kind of book that you seat and want to read all of it, without stopping. I loved how the story was told, the author knows how to write good fiction.

I loved to read about the journey of Marcus, how he changed from the begging of the book to the end. His journey was pleasant to ready.

What I did not like about it, was how Asmara was kind of a womanizer, it bothered me, it made me feel kind of uncomfortable while reading those parts. There weren’t many, but I think the author could have given him other characteristics.
And about Platt, I did not like her, only because of the way she treats Marcus, he is trying to understand her, and she does not make it easy for him. She could use a little bit more empathy.

My rate for this book is 4 out of 4 stars. The book is amazing, I think loving and hating some characters proves the quality of it, you can get so deep in the story that you feel like the characters were real. The storyline is organized and well build, it has an easy and fast reading.

I recommend this book to anyone how likes fantasy and wants a book out of the cliché.
