The MISOGI Method by Jody B. Miller teaches us about a practice that is used by the Japanese to purify their souls. In this ritual, a person stands under the cold waterfall to get rid of his sins. This method started with the oceans but shifted to the waterfalls. Science has also supported the benefits of standing under cold water. The benefits range from improvement in overall health to resistance towards chronic diseases. The misogi method means taking a challenge that has chances of more than fifty percent of failure. This should be a challenge and not a competition. The benefit of taking a misogi challenge is that it recreates your personality. After completing this challenge, you become a better person. The author has shared her journey of taking the misogi challenge. Once she joined a famous gym in which some athletes were talking about their misogi challenge. After doing some research she found out that various athletes have created records after completing their misogi challenge.

The thing which I liked most about this book was how the author has presented this unique idea in her book. She has explained this idea by using the examples of famous athletes. The author has also challenged the modern way of parenting in the introductory part of this book. She has shared her childhood experience when the situations allowed her to experience different things. The experience of her childhood helped her to become a creative and better person. The misogi method has the same effect on the person. She has also explained terms like rituals and traditions. The author has explained the meaning of rituals by giving the example of a very famous tennis player.

There is nothing to dislike about this book as this book is very interesting and the readers will surely enjoy this book. The language used by the author is very interesting and engaging.

I will give four out of four stars to this book as this book is exceptionally well-edited. It's well written and easy to understand. The author has used descriptive language which creates pictures in your mind and makes the book more interesting. The author has successfully explained this unique concept in the book. The author has successfully maintained the pace of the book.

I would recommend this book to any person who is interested in self-improvement. Any person who is interested in knowing about the rituals of Japan will find this book interesting. This book will surely improve your life.
