We are Voulhire: Someone Else’s End is Matthew Tysz’ third book in his Voulhire series. Destruction has hit Voulhire from all different sides, and all the characters have different ways of dealing with their pain and loss. It shows growth and change and is great to read. Galen, Rowan and Demetrius have secrets and unexpected sides to their personalities - not to mention the King!

In Matthew's third book there were many sudden brutal moments. It was unexpected, violent, and well written. If you don’t like brutality, I would skip this series. The book also introduced a more modern climate into the culture. It was fun and different seeing this, and I enjoyed it greatly.

One thing that was a bit confusing about this book, was that at certain points it seemed like the characters were looking back in time as if they were thinking of something that has already happened. While this in itself is not wrong, seeing as none of the other books in the series did this, it was confusing and created a different atmosphere.

Another thing I did not love about this book was that it seemed more depressing than the two previous books. It seems like everything is just going wrong and that the characters will never win. This is usually fine within a series, but only when the characters also have a bit of hope at the end of a book. However, you only notice this if you have read the previous two books as well.

Matthew Tysz is talented and has many different levels. The world and story he made up are creative and inspiring, and it challenges everyone who reads it to unlock their imaginative worlds as well.

The editing done in the book was remarkable, and the story was wonderful. However, I am not giving the book full stars simply because although this book was great, it was not so interesting that it engaged my imagination a 100%. It certainly had its moments, but not nearly enough for my liking. I give this book 3 out of 4 stars because the book was well written.

If you love adventurous and complex stories, you will love reading this book and imagining each scene. The characters are deceptive and deep and humorous, and they make the whole story so much more fun to read. If you love this fascinating on-page description, you will love reading this book.
