This is a remarkable story about a young cancer survivor who turns all odds in his favor. Some might think this is yet another victory tale of another cancer survivor, but as they say never judge a book by its cover. This book guarantees that you will be engulfed by an emotional roller coaster that has a lot of twists and turns but eventually has a safe landing.

The story revolves around Jason Merkle, his life changes in an instant when he comes to know about an inoperable, benign brain stem tumor at the mere age of thirteen. This news struck the Merkle family as lighting but instead of losing hope and thinking why them they admitted themselves entirely in the hands of god and always had a positive approach throughout this whole situation .But just as things were getting back to normal there was another shocking news after seven years there was a relapse and the benign had turned into malignant. The doctors declared that he had only some time. But yet again he turned out to be a victor. His eternal optimism constant support from his family and friend’s, faith in god and perseverance and never giving up attitude is what helped Jason survive this ordeal.

True stories like these often re-establishes our faith in god and makes us believe there is nothing that we cannot achieve if we have the right amount of attitude with a perfect mix of hard work, dedication, sacrifice and a lot of trust and belief in god.

Kyle S. Reynolds has done true justice by naming his book Don't Quit, “winners never quit and quitters never win” is a proverb that we come across quite often but never actually do we really understand its meaning. A winner is a survivor and in our case Jason proves to be one. This book is a real inspiration for all the fighters out there be an adult or a kid this book is a must read if you are looking for some optimism and hope in life.

With very tight editing the book deserves a 3/4 star although one thing Kyle S. Reynolds could have kept the book a little short as there are some instances of overlap. But all in all Jason will make you fall for him, you will pray for his survival, you will cheer for him in distress, you will cry for him but at last when he fully recovers you will end up with a big smile on your face.
