Who Told You That You Were Naked? is a non fictional Christian book by Pastor William .E. Combs. In this book Pastor Combs dissects the book of Genesis, talking about the origin of sin from Adam and Eve to how having faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to fight it. This book is a revaluation of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. The author Pastor Combs takes from the Bible what we know about the story of Adam and Eve and recreates it by adding dialogue between characters making the book unique.

From the early chapters of the book one may think that it's just another study devotional but when you read further you will discover it's more than that, every step of the way Pastor Combs elaborated on some significant part of the story, an example of this is in chapter 2 "Naked in the garden " the author pointed out the reason Adam was afraid after eating the fruit when the Lord came to meet them and also on the part when Adam and Eve eyes were opened relating it to today's world. This act I will say is one of the things that made this book a great book.

One of the parts I like about this book is actually in chapter one, when Adam rescued a young Lamb from danger took the Lamb home to keep it as his friend and companion, Adam soon discovered that not everything he could share with is new friend, this was before God created Eve. The author really dissected the book of Genesis except from one part which I think he meant to ignore. The book of Genesis 3:6 which says at the ending part "she took of the fruit thereof and did eat and to her husband who was with her and he did eat"

according to the Bible her husband was with her during the temptation but from the book he was back home chaffing wheat while his wife traveled the northern part of the garden gathering fruits when she got tempted by the serpent, pages 14, 17 -19. This fact I think the author had just meant to ignore. There is nothing I can say but to say this book is a great book, grammatical errors were rare even as Imli tried my best to spot one I ended up being disappointed.

I think every Christian should read this book especially those who have questions about the story of Adam and Eve, it will answer if not all at least majority of your questions. I rate Who Told You That You Were Naked? 4 out of 4 stars. It was well edited and I recommend this book for people between the ages of 12 and above especially the Christian.
