Visually pleasing...…but way too intricate

A little disappointing. Gnomes in Homes coloring book is really cute and appealing to the eye. The inspirational quotes are uplifting and of a positive nature. You could tell the images were hand drawn with great care and detail. However, the lines on the pages are extremely tiny and difficult to color, all the areas seem to blend together, and it becomes hard to recognize what you just colored. The lines seem to be blurry, and the pages seem to be repetitive. Extremely adorable and interesting, but would definitely not be for children to color - it seems complicated. The homes are much cuter before they are colored. Also wondering where are all the gnomes???? I would enjoy seeing the gnomes living in these cute little homes. Also, you need a very precise point on your colored pencils or fine tip markers to get in the lines, so you will need something to put between the pages because the paper is thin and the ink bleeds through.

Overall, it is a cute and original concept and the quotes are very nice. Coloring in the book was very relaxing, so this book would make a great get well gift!!!
