Re: The Chat Thread

Post by Teesie »

Hey everybody, I'm back. There's been a lot going on in my life lately that has kept me away :( First off I had a crazy semester at school that took all my time. For a while my life consisted of eat sleep school eat sleep school, so on and so forth. I was at school from 9 am until 10 pm 3 days a week and 9am to 2:30 the other two days. All my free time and my weekends were spent doing homework or laundry or dealing with my deranged, psyco, abusive boyfriend. Well, I finally had enough, and left my boyfriend. That solved a few of my problems, but then I had to deal with moving. I've been doing a lot of moving. Back into my Mama's house  But not much choice when your a unemployed college student, and I'm very grateful that Mama is happy to have me back home. (She and my stepdaddy are loving it cause I do a lot of good cooking and baking). My unemployment benefits ran out so I've been runnin around everywhere trying to find a job, no luck yet, but I'm hopeful about an opportunity I've found that I'm applying for tomorrow. For a while I was having difficulties trying to find time to read. Here lately I've had more luck though. After being disappointed by my local areas lack of ability to get good books, and lack of ability to financially support my reading habbits, I ran into a wall on the Thursday Next series and haven't been able to keep up on it. But I intend to get back into it soon. After I hit that wall I started reading the Sookie Stackhouse books after becoming obsessed with True Blood. If the tv shows that good, I just knew the books had to be and I was right. I was also trying to catch up on a couple of other series I follow, HoN and The Darkest Powers, but then I was hopelessly distracted by Fifty Shades. I'm nearly done with that though, and I hope to pick back up on some of the others. I've tried to launch myself back out into the dating world, but with not much luck.... but, anyway, enough of my rambling.... I missed everybody, and I'm glad to be back! :D

Thanks guys. And thank you Bighuey. My friends and I had this pic made the night we all got drunk at the beach. This was before we started drinking though.

After I joined this forum, I learned that in order to start reviewing books I had to have about 168 posts for immediate reviewing of a book, so I have been working very hard to get to that goal, and this post is my 100th post!!! I'm so happy.
In addition my husband has some serious surgery coming up in the next 2 weeks (my birthday is the week before); he's getting a magnetic plate implanted in his skull for this new FDA approved cochlear. Instead of having the cochlear that has the stud that sticks out behind the ear, he'll be able to remove the cochlear device and nobody will notice that he even has to wear anything.
I think my dog has gas and doesn't know what going on so she keeps going to the door like she's got to go out and then jumps on the bed, jumps down and bites her tail... it's pretty funny!!

Dog farts are pretty bad, thats for sure. I used to have a minature poodle that would fart like a mule.

Our other dog has really bad gas, it smells so terrible you'd think it was toxic!! The other day the husky was laying on the bed, randomly jumped up to get off the bed... While her butt was in the air she farted twice and kept walking like nothing happened haha it was funny

Dog farts are not cool. This is a fun one. What do you want to talk about?
