The 'craic' is just what many Irish people call fun, a good time, a good night out etc. As in "last night was great craic, that fellow there is great craic with a few drinks in him, tonight should be great craic". I could write a dictionary of terms here, its the same in a lot of countries with local terminology.GotThatSwing wrote:haha, obviously, the beauties stayed here![]()
what's the "craic"?
Not to be confused with the drug

I'm not a great Chocolate person but today wine & too many Bailey's coffees combined with heat on too high & I have that sluggish, dopey feeling.
Mike, do we know where in Eastern Europe El_greco is ... could we get some Lucozade there ... maybe DHL would deliver?

Good idea Fran, surely the tropic temperatures of 3degrees has resumed normal deliveries. El Greco, hope your stomach is a bit better, Lucozade might do it the world of good, its a magic drink for sore stomachs, headaches and general illness....just like flat 7-UP in a cup! Fran, hope your plumbing gets sorted, my shower is back to normal thankfully.Fran wrote:Lord it's so great to hear the rain beating off the window ... normality again at long last.

Word Association usually does the trick, Swing, taxing the brain late at night tends to bring sleep on quickly. And if you play it really fast, as in trying to get more than 4 replies in a minute, you will exhaust yourself.GotThatSwing wrote:Anyone knows any methods for sleeping trouble?
