Hmmm... Breakfast :D ... Just remind me what goes into a traditional Irish fry-up...

OK. Bear in mind that a popular author has hundreds and hundreds of people asking him for speeches, book-signings, and interviews, and that his schedule gets booked up far in advance. Expect to have to be very patient!

^ A traditional Irish breakfast is 2 sausages, fried egg, 2 pieces of bacon, black and white pudding, hash brown, beans and tomato, with white and brown toast, orange juice and a mug of tea, satisfied yet? And when I was a young fella my mother would throw 2 pieces of white bread in a hot frying pan and we would have lovely fried bread with all the above, I wonder did anyone else do that

Yummy, yummy! Yes, I had fried bread when a little chap too! Don't people eat mushrooms in Ireland?

Good thinking! All of the above in a nice fresh-baked crusty roll. Yum!

Thanks, Fran! :)

That's cheered me up. I've had a hard day over... Ooops! Mustn't moan in my own pub. It upsets the customers. Please look after the bar while I nip across to the other pub and moan there...

My favorite football(not soccer, real football) team, The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame, vanquished The Stanford
Cardinal yesterday, 20-13. They are now 6-0(and surely on their way to Sainthood)!!!!!!!!! Which reminds me of a
joke Frank McCourt told me the last time I ran into him at bingo(another gift given by The Church to the cause of
World Peace. I'd mention Abstinence, but its been out of favor for so long, it hardly matters). So Frank says to me
"What's the difference between the Irish of Notre Dame and the Irish of Ireland? Give up? For the Irish of Notre Dame,
the punt is still an option!" Oh, aye.

Hi, Cliff, and welcome to the Smugglers! This side of the pond, soccer is the real football. The sort of football where you're allowed to maul the opposition gets called rugby here.

So would it be Guinness that you're drinking? :D

Rugby? Isn't that foreigners pushing and shoving each other, instead of forming a queue? Sounds barbaric. Read
your piece on Lukazode, so better stay away from that. I'll have a barrel of Guinness with a garden hose. I flew
all the way from South Bend today. Not only are my arms tired, I'm dry as the Sahara. So as not to offend the landlord,
I'll siphon it into a Smugglers Arms mug and you can serve it in your signature style, with elan. Say, I'm all out of greenbacks, all I've got are punts. Frank sold em to me after he told me that ridiculous joke. I still don't get it.

Ooops! Sorry, but punts don't work any more. Ireland is now on the Euro. Perhaps you have a credit card?

Rather late in the game...but wandered in out of the cold. Bailey's and Coffee if you are still open!

Welcome, Carla! Here's the Baileys, and fresh-brewed coffee is on its way. :D

So what brings you out on a cold night, if I may ask?
