Searching for Paradise[\i] by T. L. Hughes is a book that is based three young adult male that leave the life they have behind in search of what they call paradise. It's a beautiful story about Mike, Luke and Declan who leave their steady lives and good paying jobs just to go chase their dreams that might not even pan out.

Mike and his friends decide to pack their belongings and take a long trip across America to visit their friends and family before they leave America for good. Their trip is filled with a lot of reminiscent moments as well as creation of new memories. The trio are quite adventurous and inquisitive. The trip is in addition full of learning and humour.

Searching for Paradise[\i] is sort of motivational as it encourages the reader to go out there and do what truly makes them happy. It teaches that being stable does not mean being happy. It also sends a message that living a life that you never wanted for yourself can make you very miserable.

Themes encompassed in the story include perseverance and passion. The first is seen together with blind faith as the three young men drop their lives to strive for something better, something that brings them true happiness. Passion, expressed as a strong feeling of love towards something can be highlighted in the same way as the first theme, though we could say they were driven by the passion to leave everything behind and go live their dreams.

I loved reading the book because even though it is a work of fiction, it felt like I was reading someone's real life story. Also, I love the ending of the story, how the trio are on a plane headed to the destined place where they will live out their dreams. It is as if the author wants us to write the rest of their story in our heads and to finish it however we please. As well as how the narrator - Mike - learns that true Paradise can be found in others.

Searching for Paradise[\i] is a book categorized under historical fiction. It is plotted at around 1980s all across America. It is a beautiful story that would be suited for all fiction readers. It has little to no errors. It was awesome how the author encompassed songs and poems throughout the book giving it a creative feel. I think the book is great and rate it 4 out of 4[\b].
