Review of Die-Mentions
Die-Mentions by James Allen is a fictional story that primarily touches on scientific theories and principles and their interconnections with religion.
A scientific theory is described as a structured explanation of a group of facts or phenomena in the natural world that often incorporates scientific hypotheses and scientific methods. Every scientific theory relies on the scientific method, which is a systematic and logical approach to discovering how things in the universe work. It is also the body of knowledge accumulated through the discovery of all the things in the universe.
On the other side, we see the definition of theology, which mostly deals with the spiritual and mental parts of humanity. In this context, the human spirit is a component of human philosophy, psychology, art, and knowledge. The human soul can also refer to the spirit, and our souls are the personal flavor of our spirit. This is evident in the Bible, where the Holy Spirit is referred to as "wind."
I liked the way the author used accurate and up-to-date scientific facts within the story. A good example that I loved was the description of the law of conservation of energy, which states: "Energy can neither be created nor destroyed; however, it may be transformed from one form to another. If you take all forms of energy into account, the total energy of an isolated system always remains the same." The author then meticulously interconnects this theory with our physical life, which I found to be quite a stroke of genius. This greatly helped me understand the book and broke the monotony, making it overall interesting to read. The inclusion of these scientific facts shows that the author worked hard on research before writing this admirable book.
Another positive aspect I liked was the format the author used in writing the book. This came in two ways: first, the author made some text bold, highlighting it as a very important point that the reader should keep in mind. The second was how the author incorporated biblical scriptures together with scientific facts to help better explain the message. There were numerous biblical scriptures, showing a significant amount of work was done before the book was written.
However, I found it a bit difficult to understand some of the words used within the book as some were incredibly complex. In my opinion, the author should have included a glossary to help readers better understand the book without any difficulty.
In conclusion, I rate Die-Mentions by James Allen 4 out of 5 stars. I chose to deduct one star due to the difficulty I faced with some complex words within the book. I recommend this book to teenagers and people in their twenties, as well as lovers of thriller-based stories. The scientific facts and theories in this book will no doubt leave you on the edge of your seat. I found this book exceptionally well-edited.
