Review of Killing Abel
Most people have read the story of Adam and Eve in the Bible, which is an historical story about God's first creations. However, this intriguing fictional book tends to create a story similar to that of Adam and Eve in the Bible and how they were cast out of the Garden of Eden. Killing Abel by Michael Tieman is an amazing work of fiction with a lot of untold stories about God's first creations.
Adam and Eve were blessed and favored by God. They were God's first creations. While in the garden of Eden, they enjoyed a lot of privileges given to them by God. But God instructed them not to eat from the tree of knowledge. Lucifer deceived Eve, who then lured Adam to eat from the forbidden tree. It was so unfortunate that Adam and Eve couldn't resist Lucifer's temptation. Because of their disobedience, God cast them out of the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve gave birth to Eva; after that, they had several female children before God blessed them with two sons, Cain and his younger brother Abel. Cain's relationship with Abel made Abel accept Cain's request to go in search of the tree of knowledge. Who killed Abel, and what could have been the motive of the person? Grab a copy of this book to find out.
There are many positive aspects to this book. This book takes us back to the story of God's first creations in the Bible. I really enjoyed the storyline of the book. The author did justice to the development of the characters. Michael Tieman is a creative writer, and I must commend his creative abilities. I enjoyed this book because it is a very familiar story that is similar to the ones I have read from different books and the Bible. I love the fact that Adam and Eve realized their mistakes and tried so hard so their children wouldn't make the same mistakes they made. This book has a lot of lessons to learn from. I learned that we shouldn't abuse the privileges we are given. I also learned that punishments are there to correct us and prevent us from making further mistakes, which we would end up regretting. The best part of this book was when God blessed them with a male child after they prayed to God for the blessing of a male child.
There are a few things I disliked about this book. Firstly, the title of the book seems to be just a part of the book, but the book covers a lot, like the story of God's first creations. Secondly, the characters got married to their relatives, and as a Christian, this doesn't go well with my faith. These are the only things I disliked. I love the writing style of the author. The book was engaging. I also didn't come across any grammatical errors in the book. This shows it was exceptionally well-edited.
I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I deducted a star because of the negative aspects of the book, which I stated above. I recommend this book to Christians and those who love reading fictional books.
