It’s strange how reading this book Wild World by Peter.S.Rush felt like the reality of my society today, seeing how citizens struggle to express their rights and how the police force who are meant to protect the citizens are used as a means to suppress the same citizens they are meant to protect. Indeed, it is a WILD WORLD. While reading some parts of this novel I struggled to find the fiction in it because of how realistic it was and I know that a few people who read or are about to read this book will meet their purpose after reading the Wild World by Peter.S.Rush.

Wild World by Peter S.Rush narrates how a corrupt military system brings civilians into conflict with militants. I was overwhelmed while reading about how the Columbus National Guard troops treated unarmed protesters. It is disheartening to see how the constitution allows the citizens a right to peacefully protest, but the corrupt system of people in power keeps doing all they can to take away their rights and voices, shooting, armless protesters to death and all sorts of abuse just to cover up their corrupt practices while covering up the media with one of their propaganda leaving the citizens in pains more than they have caused.

It was more thrilling to read about Steve, a main character in this book who hated the police force so much just like most of us who have been a victim or have heard about how corrupt the police force can be, but in his case, Steve finally joined the police force, but to reform the corrupt system.

I loved the interesting scenes Steve played and how he fought for the people while still keeping his emotions in check. His romance scenes with Roxy were written particularly well and I could feel their chemistry while reading and I can say Peter.S.Rush's great descriptive writing made this whole book very relatable.

However,I am rating Wild World 3 out of 4 stars. because, for me, it has short-term suspense that makes it difficult to anticipate the rest of the book while reading. Nevertheless, the writer, Peter.S.Rush, did a great job and, seeing how realistic the story is, to us in our society, I will recommend this book to everyone and everyone who is fighting for the good cause of our society, our courageous freedom fighters and human rights activists all over the world.
