Wild World by Peter S. Rush is a work of historical fiction set during the Vietnam War. Steve Logan, a bright student and soon-to-be graduate from Brown University, intends to pursue a law degree after graduation. But a few weeks before Steve graduated, an incident occurred in Kent State where young, peaceful protesters were shot down by policemen. Due to this incident and a meeting Steve attended organised by Durk, who talked about reforming and eradicating corruption in the police force, Steve changed his mind about going to law school and decided to become a policeman instead. Steve reasoned that it would be his own way of effecting change in the force. Little did Steve know that this decision would put his life in danger and affect his relationship with his girlfriend, Roxy. Was Steve able to make the change he so desired? Find out more by reading this interesting book.

Wild World contains several positive aspects and touches on important themes such as love, friendship, betrayal, loyalty, corruption, and many more. I admire Steve's character and his ability to make the right choices even in the face of danger. He was determined to make a change in the force even though the other officers didn't accept him as one of their own. I learned that we can achieve the change we want in our society by taking a step towards it and being a part of it. Hoping and complaining won't give us the change we want.

I liked how the author was able to give a detailed description of the events in the book and how he made them so relatable to read and enjoy. The book encourages young adults to be more involved and active in making changes to their society. I found no grammatical errors while reading the book. The book was exceptionally well-edited.

The book has a number of positive lessons, and the storyline portrays realistic events of things happening in our society and law enforcement agencies. Because of this, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The plot was captivating, unpredictable and relatable.

I recommend Wild World to people who enjoy historical fiction and those who want to make a change in their society. Because of its erotic content, profanities, and violent scenes, it makes it unsuitable for children and people who are sensitive to the above. It is more suitable for mature audiences.

Wild World" by Peter S. Rush is the story about war protect triggered by the police shooting on a peaceful demonstration at Kent State University in Ohio, killing four students and injuring nine others. I love the main character Steve for his compassion to do the right thing.
