Review of Killing Abel
Killing Abel by Michael Tieman is a religious book based on real events mentioned in the Holy Bible. This book is a spell bounding fusion of mythology and theology. The story takes you back in time when Adam and Eve resided peacefully in heaven. This book provides a comprehensive account of the events from the fall of Lucifer to the first murder committed in history. I applaud the author for his valor to select such a sensitive topic. The author has beautifully portrayed the hardships of fatherhood and life in the external world in such a manner that they complement each other. This book provides the explanation and foundation of mortal nature, giving answers to the fundamental question, "Why things are, the way they are?" It fantastically describes the events while keeping the religious version intact. It is a crash course on spirituality and God as an entity. Just like there is a tree inside a seed, this book contains the foundation of Christianity inside it.
This book is riddled with some fundamentally valuable life lessons. Firstly, "rocking the cradle" signifies the influence of the mother on a child's future. Secondly, the difficulties of parenthood; the critical decisions taken by Fathers to discipline their children. Thirdly, remain the concept of Love in all the senses of the world, such as a parent's love, carnal love, and a Prophet's love. My favorite aspect of the book was its emotional harmony. While reading the book I experienced two different flows in the story: eventual flow and emotional flow. The characters' emotional growth was inspiring and stimulating to experience. Lastly, the book was expertly edited. I could not find any mistake in it.
I don't think many authors understand how important the format is for the readers. Epub format is preferred by most of the readers as it allows you to change the font and adjust it to their eyes. I would advise authors to update the fonts of their books, and I guarantee that the book will get more reviews/reads they want.
I would give this book a 3 out of 4 stars because of the format. It hurt my eyes to read such a small size of font. If it were not for the book format, this book would be a 4-star book.
I read this book for experimental purposes, so I would like to recommend this book to all the curious souls out there. This book is, in addition, a great read for history lovers and juvenile audiences.
