Beyond the Higher Ground By Thomas A. Brigger is an interesting book where the author writes about drug addicts and how their lives are deteriorating without them noticing. The author also writes about how a person can be able to get through his or her past bad memories.

In this story, the author introduces us to a man who goes by the name of Mason Tucker. When we are introduced to him, it is revealed that he is a builder and, in that chapter, we see that he was on a journey to Bright’s Mountain where he was going to supervise the building of a new prison. As the story progresses, it is revealed that Mason was battling with the loss of his brother, which is what led to the separation of his parents. He then met his wife Katherine, whom he loved with all his heart but, she ended up passing away and that is what Mason was battling with the most. Mason ends up renting an apartment which is close to the place where his work was, and that is when the reader battles with whether Mason was running away from the skeletons of his past and whether he will be able to survive in this place because he encounters with different people who are strangers to him and he is left with an obstacle of building a new relationship with these people.

What I liked about the book was that the author was able to describe each and every character in a way that the reader would be able to clearly understand how each character was linked to the main character. This gave the reader an idea of how each character was important in the construction of the book. I also loved how the author always made sure that he introduced different themes within the story while also making sure that he never lost the plot of the story. The author was also able to thoroughly plan his book in a way that would make sense. I liked the fact that the author used a simple writing style that was understandable for every reader. This book was very interesting, and it was packed with a lot of drama that made it very hard for me to put the book down.

There is nothing that I disliked about the book. I liked how the author was able to keep the reader with the urge of wanting to read more from the book. This book was packed with a lot of adventure and drama, and that is what made the book intriguing. The book was exceptionally edited, as I did not find any errors in it while reading.

Therefore, I would like to rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend it to people who enjoy books that are packed with adventure and drama. I also recommend it to people who like stories that contain crime, as this book has some chapters where the author includes crime that happens among the characters.
