Review of Killing Abel
Killing Abel by Michael Tieman is a book based entirely on biblical historical events. It starts with Genesis and the creation of the world, and then systematically explains the events of the Bible in the way the author imagined the events to be. It is also a theological book that deals with the creation of human kind, the fall of the angels, and also talks about how one murder affected the history of the entire Earth. This is a book that asks the questions most Christians want to ask. It also talks about how God is the father of everyone and what it means to be a good father.
Killing Abel is a book that embraces God in its entirety. Michael writes that most people try to force their view of what God is and can be. But he believes that God's actions cannot be questioned by mortals. The first chapter of this book starts with the famous story of the Garden of Eden, depicting Lucifer the snake in a different manner than what I knew him as. One thing I loved about this book was how the biblical characters were depicted and written. They all had their own thoughts and views, which were written in an easy-to-understand manner. The dialogue between the biblical characters was also close to what I believe could have happened. According to the author, biblical history is open to imagination, and Killing Abel is his own imagination of the events that transpired.
This book uses the backdrop of biblical historical events as its basis. Killing Abel is an incredibly intriguing and entertaining book. I found myself stopping and thinking that maybe what the author wrote about happening did happen. The story of Cain and Abel is a very famous story. It is a story that originally lasted a couple of chapters in the Bible, but Killing Abel prolongs that and rewrites the story in an imaginative manner.
There was absolutely nothing I disliked about this book. It was well written and easy to understand for anyone. Killing Abel is a work of art. It is a book that I never knew I needed as a Christian until I read it.
I would rate Killing Abel four out of four stars. While reading this book, I found no typos. It was an imaginative and creative biblical story. It was also well written and professionally edited. I gave this book full stars because I believe this is an amazing book for any Christian to read and have in their possession.
Killing Abel ends with a prayer to God asking for forgiveness if this book has offended him, and I appreciate the author for doing that. I would recommend this book to any practicing Christian and to any believer who wants to know more about biblical history. This book would not be suitable for anyone who is not Christian, though you could read it like a novel if you wanted.
