Killing Abel is an amazing story from the Bible by Michael Tieman that shows the consequences of Adam and Eve's decision. By just reading the title, I already knew what this story was about. What would you choose if you were given a choice between a tree of knowledge and a tree of life? The story shows the decision that not only the characters in the story should take, but us also.

The book starts with the story of Abel’s parents, who were deceived by Lucifer to go against their father and paid the price for it. The book revolves around Adam and Eve’s rebellious against God. Their rebellious made their father curse them, which changed their lives forever. Eve gave birth to 12 daughters, but after praying and on the verge of giving up, the 13th child was a boy named Cain. Their second son, Abel, was different from Cain; all of their sisters adored him. Abel had a good heart, while Cain was the total opposite. Cain was jealous of his brother. He thought that everybody loved him and resented him, which led to the killing of his brother Abel.

This was my favourite story in the Bible when I was growing up. I felt nostalgic reading it again. I remember the very first time I was taught in Sunday school and I was hooked. I did not understand the message as much as I do now.

I liked everything about this book. My favourite part was Abel’s story. It shows what jealousy can make you do. I have learned that jealousy is not a good trait; you can do unthinkable things when you are jealous. Because of this story, being the eldest sibling, I have learned to love and care for my younger siblings. I also liked how, despite being a Bible story, it showed the difficulties of marriage and how they overcame them. There were a lot of messages to learn from this.

This is a wonderful book. I believe that it has been professionally edited because I did not find any errors. I rate it a 4 out of 4 stars.

I recommend this book to people who would like to know the story of Cain and Abel. I think that this book is for everyone because it includes the most powerful information about life, which will help them in the future or allow them to understand the path that they should take. Even though this is Bible a story, I do not think it affects anyone’s religion. The book does not contain any profanity.
