Review of No Dark Clouds
The book, No Dark Clouds by R. W. Nelson, is a story set in the days of Jesus Christ. In Jerusalem there was a Taskmaster who would get children with disabilities to beg in the streets. This children included of Aditya, who was very short but she was gifted in singing. Sadly the task master misused the gift for his selfish purposes. Aditya was sold to the Taskmaster by her former Roman master at an auction. Also in Jerusalem, there was a beggar boy who met with the children begging for the Taskmaster. The boy fought a vendor and escaped to his dwelling place. He went back to beg as he did not have anything to eat. On getting back to the streets he met Barabbas whom he overheard mentioning about a Nazarite Rabbi, Jesus. It was there that a woman gave him an acorn and said to him that someone needed his help. The beggar boy fought some Hood boys and this led to Barabbas liking him and he suggested that they needed people like the boy to overthrow the Roman rule. When he was studying the acorn, he heard someone singing. It was on following the voice that he met Aditya and he helped her free from the Taskmaster.
Motivational quotes included in the book makes the book worth reading. This is because they make the book not just entertaining, but also motivates and encourages the reader. The author made several references from the Bible which make the understanding better. I love the use of vivid description which helps in visualizing the events while reading the book, for example the way the beggar boy fought with the Hood boys. It also touches a true incidence like that of the life of Jesus Christ.
There is nothing I did not like about the book. What pleased me most was the use of poetic styles of writing like the use of songs. This made me enjoy the most of my reading. Also the story of the beggar boy and the beggar children is a flashback from the actual story in the book. This proves the author's great ability in the writing world.
It is worth rating the book four out of four stars. The author has earned the rating because of his fantastic writing. I loved reading the book and wished to read more beyond completing it. It is way so interesting to read. It is also friendly to read as it does not contain any use of vulgar language and it is professionally edited.
I recommend the book to actors and movie makers as it contains many scenes that can be acted. The book can also be used in Bible study as it has many references from the Bible.
