I don’t really like history from this far back. Recent historical fiction is more up my alley. Still, I find myself wondering about Caspar.

Casper has an interesting tale, and his ambitions lead him far. His only challenge is that he is his pawn to those who don't entirely treasure him.
Cleopatra is one of the most beautiful women known to history. I haven't yet read her tale, but I would love to read this book to understand why she is still so much loved and admired by the World. I enjoyed reading this review, and it truly got me interested in reading this magnificent book. Congratulations on making a book of the day.

This looks interesting, I'm a bit confused though. This book is said to be historical fiction, but the review convinces me that we still get to learn about the historical figures like Cleopatra in it anyway. It seems the book is still based on facts. I want to see what this is!

historical fictions are generally not my cup of tea but I have always been fascinated with Roman history especially when it comes to Cleopatra and Caesar. It would be interesting to read how Casper got used as a pawn. congrats on BOTD.

An engaging historical fiction book "Caspar: Last of the Magi" by Fred Fraikor, which features history of Roman Empire and the rise and fall of Cleopatra. The story follows Caspar, whose life is full of uncertainties. I should try this out.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

This is a historical fiction. This book sheds light on legendary Cleopatra. the Roman Empire, Caesar Augustus, King Herod, Octavius, Agrippa, the Magi from the East, the shining star that heralded the birth of a king like no other, amongst several other legends and popular historical events. A well written book and a good book review. Congratulations on the BOTD!

The Roman Empire and the rise and fall of Cleopatra are interesting topics. The character Caspar is striking since he undergoes a sharp change in his life around the political world and has to deal with the disadvantages that it implies. However, It seems that the book focuses more on Cleopatra, what she did, and how the Roman empire was run during the reign of Caesar Augustus.

This book seems very fascinating.
I have heard quite a lot about Cleopatra. I can't wait to find out for myself what information this book contains about Cleopatra. I also would love to get more details about the Roman empire. I've heard lots of tale about it too.
Thank you for this wonderful review.

Interesting. Between your review and the sample I'm highly intrigued. Egyptian history and mythology is a topic I enjoy, and Cleoptra is always an amazing historical figure to read about.
