Cleopatra is one of the most beautiful women known to history. I haven't yet read her tale, but I would love to read this book to understand why she is still so much loved and admired by the World. i am very into ancient roman stories of the sort and this seems to interest me really very much and also the character basing is of real essence like characters such as Cleopatra are the real deal

This looks interesting, I'm a bit confused though. This book is said to be historical fiction, but the review convinces me that we still get to learn about the historical figures like Cleopatra in it anyway. It seems the book is still based on facts. I want to see what this is!

The Roman Empire and the rise and fall of Cleopatra are interesting topics. The character Caspar is striking since he undergoes a sharp change in his life around the political world and has to deal with the disadvantages that it implies. However, It seems that the book focuses more on Cleopatra, what she did, and how the Roman empire was run during the reign of Caesar Augustus.

Interesting. Between your review and the sample I'm highly intrigued. Egyptian history and mythology is a topic I enjoy, and Cleoptra is always an amazing historical figure to read about.
