Cuddle Kitty by Steven Rogers is a heartwarming children's book about a little girl named Emma and her cute kitty, Cleo. Whenever Emma tries to approach Cleo, the frightened kitty runs away. Will Emma learn the best way to treat her furry friend? So let's join Emma on her journey as she learns how to connect with her cat and win over Cleo.

The author beautifully captures the interactions between a child and her pet. The illustrations showing the pictures of squealing, running, pulling tails, and rough petting, which makes them frightened and causes them to hiss and scratch, are portrayed beautifully. It’s great to see how the illustrations show Emma as small when she first meets Cleo, but as she matures and grows, so does her understanding of her furry friend. This is exactly what happened with my daughter and our cat. It took a lot of time and patience for her to learn the proper way to treat our cat, but now they share an amazing bond.

This book is written from a cat's perspective, which will be refreshing for young readers to understand their point of view. It teaches them the importance of being patient and learning how to properly pet and play with their cats and how to gain their trust. This short and sweet book will be a valuable resource for parents who are considering adopting a cat and have young children at home.

I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars because there is nothing to dislike about it. The editing is perfect, with no errors found; the simple and rhyming words are a joy to read, and the illustrations by Alison Mutton are spot on, which will surely captivate young minds.

I would recommend this book for children aged 3 to 6. This charming story, with its captivating illustrations, will help parents teach their children how to approach their furry friends and understand the importance of patience and care in building a strong bond that lasts forever.

Having struggled with understanding cats, this will a great book for me to read. It's refreshing that it's written from a cat's POV

I think is nice that the book caputes and highlights the interactions between children and pets, as I've seen a lot of kids that pull the tails of cats and dogs, not knowing that they don't like it and get scared.

This book tells the story of a girl and a cat meeting. The illustrations are interesting, the story is interesting. It can tell about feelings between humans and animals, whether they are pets or not.
