Stevie Tenderheart Books WAIT A MINUTE! (An Illustrated Novella) by Steve William Laible is a captivating children's book about Stevie Tenderheart, a curious and adventurous boy who loves to explore and play. Stevie is always finding mischief. He enjoys nothing more than jumping, dreaming, and playing in bed. One day, Stevie takes his bed to the moon, where he tastes a rainbow with his spoon before gently landing it back in his room.

In this illustrated novella, Stevie invites his favorite things, pets, and animals to join him in his room. He starts by inviting all kinds of balls, including soccer balls, golf balls, racquetballs, tetherballs, tennis balls, volleyballs, and other balls. Then, he calls different animals, snacks, and pets, such as a lion, a pig, hummingbirds, a baby dinosaur, a frog, apples, pears, and others.

To the readers' delight, the book explores how Stevie allures these creatures and what he discusses with them. How did he do that? What did Stevies discuss with all the things and animals? Why did he invite them? What is the relationship between Stevie and his invitees? Readers will learn the answers to these questions in the book.
