Defecation, also known as pooping, is one of the most normal and regular processes that living organisms go through. However, people and even little children feel humiliated talking about this topic openly. Some even develop pooping anxiety! Overthinking and inability to express gut or defecation related issues is a great challenge. So in a world where people still cannot openly talk about pooping, The Very Hungry Beagles Guide To Poop which is dictated by Mr Beckham, Lucky & Peanut to their butler M Jackson is a refreshing and interesting take on the topic. The book is beautifully illustrated by Ros Webb and displays the natural habitat of the beagles and their hunger for different types of poop.

The book presents an elaborate discussion of twelve different poops, tasted and approved by two lovely beagles named Lucky and Peanut. However, don't be mistaken because the book doesn't only talk about poop. It also discusses what different kinds of animals like to eat in a fun way. This also educates children about the eating habits of various animals. The art depiction of the beagles trying to hunt down different kinds of poop before each chapter  is on point and fun. Every chapter focuses on a different animal, and the rating of their poop is done on the basis of rarity, smell, texture, and taste.

I really liked the book. It brought a smile to my face. The perspective of the book is unique and fun. I think it is best suited to little children who will not only find it silly but quite funny too. The book completely focuses on the adventures of beagles around the animal poop. The book is exceptionally well-edited.

I rate this book five out of five stars. There is nothing I dislike about the book. Personally, I look at this book as sharing knowledge about how different animals live and eat. Knowing animals by knowing their poop is a scientific study that exists, and this book can inspire young minds to look more into wildlife.

Some people may not like the concept of this book. So, it's advised for them to not read it. If your children might find this book's concept fun, then you can go for it and have a good time as a family.
