Stevie loves his bed above everything else. He always talks about his bed, its importance in his life, and his growth. If possible, he would love to take his bed everywhere. Stevie has different fantasies in his mind involving his bed. He would like to fit his bed into his closet, take his bed to the moon, and taste the rainbow with his spoon.

The very first thing he wishes to do is fill his bed with all kinds of balls, from beach balls to bowling balls, but he wonders if his feet would fit in the holes. He wants to fill his bed with pets, from dogs to pollywogs. He wants to put a deer in his bed but worries a frog will hop on his head. Will a baby dinosaur fit in his bed, or will it wet his bed? His fantasies do not end there.

Stevie Tenderheart Books Wait a Minute by Steve William Laible is children’s favourite read. I completely enjoyed reading the book. Stevie’s fantasies regarding his bed are completely enjoyable. Normally, a child’s favourite will be a toy or doll. Here, Stevie fancies his bed and imagines loading it with his favourite stuff, from farm animals to snacks. As he imagines each and every fantasy, he also understands and explains its downsides. Another appreciable aspect of the book is the lessons children can learn while having fun reading it. For example, Stevie advises all his young readers not to have snacks in bed and that they should always listen to their parents and teachers, who give them wise advice. One more positive aspect of the book is the use of illustrative images. These images bring Stevie’s fantasies to life.

I will definitely ask my daughter to read this book by getting a paperback version. Being a voracious reader, she will for sure love Stevie’s fun fantasies about loading his bed with his favourite items. I also hope that after reading Stevie’s advice, she will stop having snacks in bed.

Considering all the above-mentioned positive aspects, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. This book is suitable for all ages, especially children, as the contents aim to attract young ones. The book has been well edited; hence, no mistakes were made.
