Stevie Tenderheart Books WAIT A MINUTE! by Steve William Laible, beautifully illustrated by Nancy Watson, is a delightful bedtime story suitable for kids aged 3 to 12 years. Stevie is a little boy who is head over heels for his bed and wants to keep everything right there with him. His vivid imagination comes to life through wild stories about all sorts of animals and veggies.

Right from the start, the narrative drew me in with its lyrical, poetic style that brought pleasant to my ears. The illustrations are adorable and vibrant. The words even get playful with colors sometimes, making the story more fun and appealing.

What stands out to me is that every time Stevie drops a "Wait a moment!", there's a cool lesson tucked in. It provides an enjoyable way for children to learn about essential topics such as hygiene, bedtime routines, and the importance of listening to their parents. Stevie might be a little troublemaker, but he's all ears when it comes to his mom.

Just when I thought Stevie's little twists and turns would go on forever, the book wraps up like a sweet hug, spreading the message of filling your heart with kindness and gladness. Picture listening to this before bedtime – every kid would drift off with a big smile on their face for sure.

This bedtime story is a rollercoaster of fun and brilliant ideas. It's a perfect balance of learning and joy. There's nothing not to love – pure innocence, laughter, and happiness jumping off every page. The inner child in me is totally hooked from cover to cover, and I'd easily rate it five out of five stars without a second thought, especially since I didn't notice any typos or errors in the book. I highly recommend it to every parent as the perfect bedtime read.
