Our job and responsibility as parents or providers is to spend time with our children, particularly when they're young, and they should be our top priority. This would be an excellent first step in building a relationship with them. The book Wait a Minute!: An Illustrated Novella by Steve William Laible is a children's book about Steve trying to fall asleep and putting a lot of consideration into the condition of his bed to achieve this.

A young boy, Steve, loves his bed and sees it as his favourite place because stories are read to him there. When he wants to sleep, he puts his toys away and wraps his covers around himself. Steve tries to fill his bed with his favourite things to begin his night's playdate, and while he thinks of filling his bed with all sorts of balls, he thinks of different pets he loves, such as deer, ducks, skunks and so on. He goes ahead to see the disadvantages of doing so, and by reading this book, you will know the conditions he found best for his bed to be in for him to fall asleep.

Wait a Minute! appealed to me because it was a brief and exciting read. The book informs children of a lot of positive aspects of rest, such as growing up while sleeping. The book also helps children understand how to keep their beds clean before sleeping. The book will also be excellent to read to children at bedtime. The use of rhymes in this book is enjoyable and beneficial for children to learn new words. The pictures are also lovely to look through with children.

I have no dislikes for this book, and I am rating it 5 out of 5 stars because of the positives listed above. I didn't encounter any errors while reading this book, which shows perfect editing. I recommend this book to parents with children ages 4 to 8 because they will enjoy the animals and toys listed in it.
