Stevie Tenderheart Books WAIT A MINUTE! (An Illustrated Novella) by Steve William Laible is a children’s book that tells the story of Stevie’s nightly routine of deciding what to take to bed with him. Follow Stevie as he tries to figure out which characters make less of a mess and which ones will not make his mom mad!

This book was a very entertaining read! I loved that part of the story was told in rhyme, which makes for an even better reading experience for a child. I also really liked that the first part of each chapter gives the child time to think about why the particular animal is not ideal to bring to bed with him. I read the book with my niece, and she giggled at several parts. Her favorite one was the story with the skunk (you can guess why!).

There is nothing negative to say about this story. The writing style is sophisticated enough to be a great reading exercise for older children, but you can also read the story to young children at bedtime!

I rate Stevie Tenderheart Books WAIT A MINUTE! (An Illustrated Novella) by Steve William Laible 5 out of 5 stars. It was very fun and quick to read. The writing style was extremely good. I can definitely say that this book is exceptionally well edited because I did not find any errors in it. I have already ordered Stevie Tenderheart's other books and I cannot wait to read them to my nieces and nephews!

I would recommend this book to all parents because it is funny and educational at the same time. It makes the child think while giggling at the absurdity of some of the scenarios. It's also a great gift idea for birthdays! I can’t think of a single child who wouldn’t love this story! Don’t walk to the bookstore, run!!!
