Stevie's favorite place is his bed. Here, he lets his imagination run wild and create a special group of friends. At first, he fills his bed with balls of all types and sizes, but he realizes this is not a great idea. So what should he put in bed with him? Stevie decides to put pets and wild animals in it, including puppies, parrots, a deer, a frog that always stays on his head, and even a baby dinosaur! Will Stevie sleep with this company, or will it make him say, "Wait a minute!" when he feels like he has crossed the line? This is the story that Steve William Laible will tell you in Stevie Tenderheart Books WAIT A MINUTE! (An Illustrated Novella).

This book tells a funny and witty story that will surely make young readers smile, and I recommend they read it before going to sleep. We all had these types of fantasies as children, and I think Laible knew how to tell them very well.

I do not think this book has negative sides. The pictures are as funny as the story, and I especially liked the one where young Stevie has a frog on his head (in addition to all the other animals). Even the story of his original way of taking a shower made me laugh (and I am sure this will happen to other readers, too).

As for typographical errors, I did not find many, so I think this book is almost flawless from this point of view, too.

It is with joy that I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars for the positive reasons I have just listed. I again recommend reading this book to young readers when they are about to go to sleep. I am sure that, in this way, they will have sweet dreams after reading a wonderful bedtime story.
