The title had me wondering if I wanted to read this book. It came across as overly aggressive in my mind. Don't worry, it's not. However, after reading it, I'm not sure at what age I would read this to my children. This is a mostly sweet story of a little girl explaining Heaven to her family. It could serve as a guide to opening discussions with children about Heaven and who Jesus is but I don't think it is the starting point. I do not believe that is the intention of the authors either as it is mentioned early on that the parents speak with the children every night about God. I'm not sure what to make of the short section about Hell. I don't think it was done in a bad way at all. I just think many parents would struggle with how to handle this topic with younger children (the children in the book are under 10). The message at the back to the parents is a good call to action and certainly, some parents will already have answers for their children after reading this - but as a former small group leader, I know many parents struggle here.

Overall, I enjoyed the story. I like introducing the possibility of having an experience with God during childhood and taking what was learned and aligning it with scripture. Adding the scripture references on the pages was an excellent idea. Parents who don't know where to start may find going straight to the source a great option. The artwork is well suited for a children's book. The wording is easy to understand and there are gentle nudges to the parents speckled in. I would read this to my children but I would prepare beforehand and maybe even make each chapter a section that we speak about over multiple days before moving on to the next one.
