This is short picture story book for kids to teach them about God, Jesus and Christianity from authors Jemima and Arvind Paul. The story is about a family of two girls living with their parents and baby sister. Their parents have been teaching them about Bible and the girls are very interested in knowing about the described scenes in Bible. Emma eldest girl of age around eight has dreams about heaven and how it appears the same as Bible describes it. Girl tells her family what she sees in heaven such as there are angels dressed in white, everyone is young and they have good food to eat. Everyone is keen in knowing details about her dream and things in heaven. One day she has a dream about hell as well. She got scared with details of the dream where people are not happy and everywhere fire is present, and her parents relieved her by telling the points from the Bible and how one should do good deeds and preach to others about Jesus to reach heaven. There are direct line quotes from the Bible to relate with the description that the girl tells about her dream which I felt is adding more interest to the story. I love the way everyone in the family is eager and curious to know about their dream and they have time for each other. Details of heaven and hell I can relate to childhood times when kids are taught to do good to receive good and also after life.
As the book is detailed around Christianity, it will be for a limited audience who are either religion neutral or have belief in the Bible and Jesus.
I would recommend it for parents to teach their children and self reading story for kids under ten. However, the book is preaching Christianity and other religions may not prefer it.
